The proper amount of SO2 is important the quality of your finished wines. When SO2 is at the proper levels, your wine will age and store well, and will not oxidize prematurely. Too little sulfur will produce an undesirable effect; too much will be tasted in the finished wine. This test kit allows you to accurately measure the SO2 level in your wines. Box contains 10 tests. Note: Titer kits are for white wines only. For SO2 testing in both white and red wines, use the Accuvin Free SO2 Test Kit. SO2 testing with the Titret Kits may produce unreliable results if the wines contain Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) or excess tannins. Users should test SO2 before adding either of these additives.
